Aluminum and lithium soaps are often used as thickeners for the production of lubricating greases for use in the building, automotive and machinery sector. Their suitability for this application is based on their good gelling properties. They influence the consistency of greases and subsequently their dropping point.
Baerlocher provides the lubricant industry with a wide range of additives based on aluminum, lithium and calcium. The products are supplied in powder form.
Characteristics
- Suitable for dropping points up to 200 °C
- High cost efficiency
- Global availability
