Stabilisers, also referred to as heat stabilisers, are absolutely necessary for the processing of PVC. They give PVC the necessary heat stability required during processing and provide the finished article with the required durability in the course of its service life. Stabilisers, marketed under the tradename BAEROSTAB are available as single components, as well as complex formulations utilising basic components. BAEROSTABs are also used as part of customized formulated stabiliser one-packs (BAEROPAN), where the stabilising components are combined with lubricants and further additives.
The whole range of stabiliser systems is available within the Baerlocher group of companies.
Stabiliser one-packs, sold under the tradename BAEROPAN are used for the extrusion and injection moulding of both rigid and plasticised PVC worldwide. Stabiliser one-packs combines stabiliser (BAEROSTAB) with lubricants (BAEROLUB) and other additives to give a customized solution. BAEROPAN?s are designed to match customers specific requirements in terms of long term stability and durability along with specific processing requirements.
Stabiliser one-packs are available based on well established lead salts and soaps. In the last decade great efforts have been made to develop lead free stabiliser one-packs to cope with regulatory demands in Europe and other areas of the world. As a result, Baerlocher leads the way with Ca-based stabiliser one-packs for all applications.
BAERLOCHER has also developed Ca-organic stabiliser one-packs, which are formulated without using zinc containing components.
Stabiliser one-packs are used for
